Wow. 2010 is gone and a new year is here! The last year went by fast. There were so many things to celebrate in 2010: I ran my first marathon, Clay finishing the RAG and getting Top Hook and joining his first fleet squadron, I ran 2 more half marathons (pregnant!), I had the chance to visit family and friends, Clay and I got pregnant with a boy, Kaylee turned 2, we celebrated another anniversary (though not together as we also had our first little det), and we even had some family come visit.
2011 is definitely going to be an interesting year. Clay will leave very shortly for his first deployment leaving me by myself to deliver our second baby. An 8 month deployment will surely seem like an eternity with a newborn and a toddler...but I know I can do it. I don't look forward to Clay being gone, but I am ready to get it over with and have it behind us. I can imagine that this will be our hardest deployment for so many reasons (it being our first, me having to deliver a baby by myself... having a toddler and a newborn may just make me insane) so I am ready to just get it over with.
My goals for the year: try to enjoy my life while Clay is gone, keep my sanity with a newborn and toddler, run another half marathon and recruit some friends to run it with me, I mainly just want to remember that life isn't always easy but it's the hard times that make the good times...good!

Dang girl! I wish I had your strength! First, I would just love to make it through a half marathon not pregnant. And then deployments while having a new baby? You are amazing!
